Funeral services for Mrs. Whyrlie Lee Wilmore, 68, of Lufkin, formerly of Kennard, are scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. in the New Hope Baptist Church in Kennard. Rev. William Purvis will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Kennard.
Mrs. Wilmore was retired from Jim's Modern Beauty Salon in Crockett, Texas and passed away on May 9, 2003 in Lufkin.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Henry L. Jr. and Dora; daughters and sons-in-law, Juanella and Larry Phipps, Debra and Tyrone Powell; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law and a number of nieces and nephews.
