Juanita (Abercrombie) Benefiel was married to Clarence Bendfiel when she died. Her death was the result of complications from a kidney infection that set in after the birth of their first and only child Claris Jean (Benefiel); Claris was born on April 08, 1931 and Juanita passed away on April 14, 1931. Before her passing, during her pregnancy, Juanita did all the seam-stressing and embroidering for the linen's of her and Clarence's home. Before meeting Clarence, Juanita attended College in Virginia and wrote many a letter to her sister's back home about her adventures in and out of school.

Their daughter Claris later married Daniel Glenn Roe in 1962 at Miami, OK.

They had a son in July 1963 who was stillborn.

They had second child, a daughter, Melinda (Roe) Adams (m. Darren Adams, 2010), she was a Laboratory Senior Analyst and Union Officer at Borax in California. Melinda and Darren now live in Texas. Melinda had two sons Tyler Roe, Dakota Michel and two daughters Olivia Brooks and Brianna Michel; together she and Darren share his son Ryan (Christi)Adams and step-daughter Hannah (David) Aguilar. Melinda has two biological grand-daughters Adeley Jean Brooks and Ella Skye Marie Roe along with another grandson on the way (Oct. 2013). Melinda and Darren share his three biological grandchildren Kylee, Chaz, and Bailey; and four step-grandchildren Gavin, Logan, Kasen, and Evann.

They had a third child, a daughter, Melanie Roe is an Attorney in California and she has a daughter Noelle.

Claris and Daniel also shared his three children from a previous marriage, a son and two daughters, as well as two grandchildren.

Juanita would be proud of her family.
