Catherine A. Weaver, of New Oxford, entered into God's eternal care January 18, 2011, in Hanover.

Born March 29, 1938, in Mount Pleasant Township, Adams County, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Marie E. (Gebhart) Weaver.

Catherine was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Bonneauville, and the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary in Bonneauville.

She retired as a seamstress from Environmental Safety Products in New Oxford after 11 years of service.

Catherine was a cook for many years prior.

She was preceded in death by her companion, Donald E. Smith, Sr., and is survived by seven children, Deborah M. Jago of Littlestown, Barbara A. Varian of New Oxford, Gerald Zartman of York, James A. Zartman of Abbottstown, Joseph G. Zartman of Littlestown, Jeffrey M. Zartman of Hanover, and Lori A. Greenholt of McSherrystown; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen M. Osburn of Hanover and Jane F. Brenner of Philadelphia; and four brothers, Richard J. Weaver, Roger R. Weaver, Robert T. Weaver, and William B. Weaver, all of Bonneauville.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Cody Zartman; two sisters, Mary E. Moser and Dorothy M. Shanebrook; and three brothers, John E. Weaver, Norman F. Weaver, and Nelson J. Weaver.

Interment: St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Cemetery, Bonneauville.
