Lee Anna Lawson Miller, a homemaker of Pineville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2000 at Britthaven of Pineville. She was 90. Funeral service for Mrs. Miller was Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at Bell County Memorial Chapel, Pineville, Kentucky with Rev. Cecil Miracle, and Rev. Bill Engle, Jr., officiating. Music was by Brenda Rogers, Linda Elam and Thurman Miller. Burial was in the Scalf Cemetery at Barbourville, Kentucky. Pallbearers were family and friends. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Woolum, Dr. Mangan, Dr. Shilander and Dr. Mohan. In addition to her parents, William Hilton and Effie King Lawson, she was preceded in death by her husband Sill Miller, grandson, Allen Shelton; sister Nancy Miller and brothers Joe Lawson and Clarence "Chunky" Lawson. Lee Anna Lawson Miller was born in Bell County, Kentucky on November 17, 1909. She was a member of the Old Four Mile Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Shirley Smith, Norwood, OH, Margie Harkins, Pineville, KY, Wanda Joes, Middlesborough, KY, Syvia Center, Mt. Orbe, OH, Maudie Shelton, Dayton, KY and Charles V. Miller of Wallsend, Pineville, KY; a special daughter-in-law, Phyllis Shipley Miller; fifteen grand children, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
