John P. Fillebrown 62, of Warner, NH,
WARNER, NH: John Porter "Filly" Fillebrown, 62, of Waldron Hill Road, formerly of North Reading, Wakefield and Ayer, Massachusetts died Friday, January 7, 2011 at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston.
John was born in Ayer, December 28, 1948, a son of Albert Lester and Leah Fillebrown and has resided in Warner for twenty years. He grew up in Ayer and was a 1966 graduate of Ayer High School.
During the 1970's, he served his country in the United States Army.
For the past 11 years he has worked for the State of New Hampshire Department of Safety as the 911 Supervisor.
He had served as a volunteer firefighter in the North Reading Fire Department. An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoyed biking, skiing, hiking, fishing and traveling to The Woods in West Virginia.
John leaves his fiancée, Linda Hoffman of Warner, NH; a daughter and son in law, Sarah and John Visocchi of North Reading; his son, Thomas Fillebrown of Bradford, NH; a brother and two sisters in law, Paul and Carol Fillebrown, Nancy Fillebrown all of Ayer and a granddaughter, Aspen Fillebrown. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of David Fillebrown who died this past May.
Funeral services will be held 10am Wednesday, January 12th at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, (rte 2A) Ayer. Please see www.andersonfuneral.com for additional information.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ayer.
