He left five brothers: David Lilly of Washington; Frank Lilly of Santa Barbara; Benjamin Lilly of Redding; Albert Lilly of Richmond and Lemuel Lilly of Dorris, Shasta County. He also left five sisters: Mrs. A Cobb of Santa Barbara; Mrs. Mary Rueger of Richmond; Mrs. A Drexel of Seattle; Mrs. M Morris of Elmhurst and Mrs. William Stephens of Richmond.
