Anna Hillyer, 87 Dies at Hospital ( health office, Mary Ann Hillyer)
Mrs. Anna Hillyer. 87, 1245 North Eleventh Street, died at the Vermillion County Hospital Sunday at 3:43 p. m. following an extended illness.
Mrs. Hillyer was born June 14, 1873 in England and had lived in this community the past 48, years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Sodora of Terre Haute; two sons, Hanley of South Bend,Indiana, and Albert of Los Angeles, California; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, April 3, 1940.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Frist Funeral. Rev. Josep Baker will officiate and burial will be made in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
