Luvicia Schwartz, 84, of Olney, died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2001, at Burgin Manor in Olney.
Visitation will be at noon Wednesday at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Bruce Rushing officiating.
Burial will be in Dundas Cemetery in Dundas.
Mrs. Schwartz was born on January 23, 1917, the daughter of John and Sarah (Tate) Robinson. She married Everett Schwartz on January 22, 1938, in New Albany, Indiana. He preceded her in death.
She was a housewife and homemaker and worked outside the home for many years at Ainsbrook Garment Factory and Burgin Manor in Olney. She was a member of Claremont Methodist Church and of Denver Home Extension Association for many years.
Mrs. Schwartz is survived by five sons, John Schwartz and his wife, Roseann, of Olney, Glenn Schwartz and his wife, Janet, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., Everett Schwartz Jr., of Fort Worth, Texas, Galen Schwartz and his wife, Pam, of Olney, and Ken Schwartz, of Olney; a daughter, Mabel Linson and her husband, Ken, of Rutland; two sisters, Edna Gawthorpe, of Albion, and Mary Mason, of Samsville; a brother-in-law, Marion Schwartz and his wife, Verna, of Olney; two sisters-in-law, Doris Schwartz and Beulah Brummer, both of Olney; and 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Everett, a son, Larry, a daughter, Betty, a grandson, Brad, two brothers, John and Dan Robinson, and two sisters, Laverne Hemrich and Carrie Edgeton.
