Rev. Otis Golden

Funeral services for Rev. Otis L. Golden, 62, 202 Albert St. SW., who died Saturday at a local rest home, will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. W. J. Johnson, Rev. Jack Freeman and Rev. Milton Simpson officiating with burial in Roselawn cemetery.

Survivors include the widow, Ms. Nora Golden, Decatur; the mother, Mrs. Robert Golden, Leeds; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Grubbs, Athens; a son, Carroll L. Wright, Fort Payne; four sisters, Mrs. Polly Miller, Birmingham, Mrs. Alene Armstrong, Macon, Georgia, Mrs. Mary Lou Naramore, Orlando, Florida, Mrs. Jerry Isbell, Leeds; a brother, J.C. Golden, Leeds; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Rev. Golden was a graduate of Howard College in Birmingham, a veteran of World War II, was a school teacher and Tanner, Flint and Trinity and was a minister at Baptist churches in North Alabama.

He served churches in Jasper, Bessemer, Athens, Priceville, Trinity, and Belle Mina.
