Margaret Louise Bratcher, a loving mother and grandmother, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel, 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a donation in Margaret Louise Bratcher's name may be made to the Tate Springs Baptist Church building fund. M. Louise Bratcher was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Justin to Audie Burdette Ussery and Barbara Helen Faught Ussery. She was raised on the north side of Fort Worth until moving to the Tate Springs area in Southwest Arlington where she lived for the rest of her life. Louise graduated from Handley High School class of 1941. Louise married Thomas Grady Bratcher June 18, 1943, at Tate Springs Baptist Church where she was a member for 70 years. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, T.G. Bratcher, and granddaughter, Kyndal Bratcher. Survivors: Daughter, Audie Gene Short and husband, Bill; son, Charles Grady Batcher and wife, Gayle; granddaughters, Ryann Nicole Cleland and husband, James, and Kimberly Gayle Bratcher; numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
