Lee Ann "Annie" Hall, 66, of Mountain Home, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, with her family by her side.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Annie was born on Jan. 8, 1945 in Gainesville, Texas, the first of three children to Wilmont P. "Bill" and Edith M. (Baxter) Havely. She attended schools in Kansas and Salome, Ariz., graduating in 1962.
In the late 1960s, Annie and a few friends traveled from Arizona to Idaho to visit the state. She met Glenn C. Hall and they were soon married in Meridian on Feb. 15, 1969. It was a first marriage for Annie and a second for Glenn.
Glenn worked construction at that time and so they traveled to many places in Idaho to different job sites. In 1972, they moved to Orofino and in 1980 moved to Mountain Home. In 1985, the family moved to Glenns Ferry where Annie lived until 2003, when she moved to Mountain Home.
Annie enjoyed working with the public and especially the profession of waitressing. She waitressed at Stoney's Desert Inn, in Mountain Home, from 1981 to 2000. She made many friends and always said the "D.I." was her second home.
Annie always enjoyed a good laugh, a good book, a tight hug, a loose slot machine, the mountains of Idaho, yelling "Bingo" and spending time with all her family and friends.
Annie is survived by her children: Tawna and her husband, Mike Hampton, of Glenns Ferry, Alberta and her husband, Tim Hinton, of Twin Falls, Tonette and her husband, Gary Bohrn, of Hansen, Yvonne and her husband, Fernando Aquilar, of Kennewick, Glenn and his wife, Susan Hall of Wendell, Rodney and his wife, Laurie Hall, of Kimberly; her brother, David and his wife, Jeannie Havely, of Mesa, Ariz., 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and very special niece and nephew, Krysta and Kyle Havely.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn, her brother, Bill, and both her parents.
The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff of Horizon Hospice, especially Robyn and Betsy, for their excellent care.
