---Mr. Francis Ray Spencer, 59, died October 13, 1885 in Johnson township, Macon Co., Mo. from heart trouble. He was born in Marion Co., Ky. and had been a Missouri resident for 33 years. He was a farmer and married. Interment in New Harmony Cemetery.

NOTE: Burial location in obituary is in error as he is buried in the LaPlata Cemetery, LaPlata, Mo.
