MANSFIELD - Arthur Green "A.G." Blessing Jr., 79, a retired Fort Worth Transit driver, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at a hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Blessing Chapel, Mansfield. Burial: Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Blessing was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Wills Point. He married Juanita Hightower on May 22, 1949, in Fort Worth; she preceded her husband in death March 8, 1988.
Mr. Blessing retired in January 1986. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Mansfield.
Survivors: Son, David Lynn Blessing of Beaumont; sister, Mrs. Ben (Doris) Barber of Mansfield; and grandchildren, Clinton David Blessing of Burleson and Kyle Robert Blessing of Beaumont. Blessing Funeral Home Mansfield, 473-1555
