She was born July 5, 1894, in Martin County, daughter of Edward and Dora Baker Taylor. She was the widow of Sol M. Ketchem.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bicknell, where she had resided before moving to Gary in 1955.
Survivors include three daughters, Alice McArthur of columbus, Wilma Gregory of Washington and Edith Gallagher of Tuscola, IL, four sons, Edward of Long Boat Key, FL, Chester of Washington, Donald of Evansville and William of East Providence, RI; a sister, Stella Bridges and two brothers, Asa and Aden Taylor of Bedford.
The funeral will be a 1 pm Sunday in the McClure Bicknell Chapel, the Rev Richard Lindamood officating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday.
