James Arlington Jeffries, 67, Exeter Township, passed away Jan. 22, 2011, at 3:30
p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he was a patient since Jan. 19.
He was the husband of Ada B. (Williams) Jeffries.
Born in Richmond, Va., on March 4, 1943, he was a son of the late Withers E. Jeffries and the late Ethel (Murray) Jeffries.
Mr. Jeffries was employed for 44 years as a printer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Brandy C. Jeffries, Exeter Township; and Stephanie D. Jeffries, Bronx, N.Y.; four grandchildren: Gregory, Jaguar, Xavier and Keaira; and two brothers, Withers E. Jeffries Jr., Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Kwesi Agyapon, Eldred, N.Y.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Pottstown Church of Christ, 699 N. Pleasant View Road, Pottstown. The Rev. Eric Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
