Born in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Eleanor (Kannan-berg) Reinhardt. Fred served his country as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Peoples Gas in Chicago for 30 years. Fred lived in Albany for the last 15 years. He was a communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi, a member of the Focolare Movement and had been a member of the American Legion while living in Chicago. Beloved husband of 55 years of Mary (Liewergen) Reinhardt; father of Karen (Eric) Pansegro of Albany, Glenn (Louise) Reinhardt of Chicago, Laura (Danny) Fallon of Albany and Janet Reinhardt of Herkimer; grandfather of David, Jesse, Sara, Alex and Kitty; great-grandfather of Jake and Seth; brother of LaVergne (Edward) Stevens of Schiller Park, Ill. and the late Elaine Reinhardt and Lorraine Reinhardt; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
