JENNINGS L. HENDERSON, 90, of Hurricane, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House after a long illness. Jennings was retired from Summit Gas and Development and a longtime member and deacon of Trace Fork Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Zada Henderson; and son, Frank. Surviving him are his wife of 68 years, Alberta Beckett Henderson; one son, Randy Henderson; and two daughters, Wanda Henderson and Darlene Henderson; daughter-in-law, Janie; and granddaughter, Sumer, all of Hurricane. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Dickie Jobe and Rev. Jim Landis officiating. Burial will follow in Trace Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before service Wednesday. The family would like to thank CAMC Teays Valley and Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington for all the care and kindness.
