"Together Again"
Our beloved mother, Thelma Marie Jensen Attridge, age 91, passed away March 20, 2003 of several age related conditions.
Thelma was born to Erastus Jensen and Adelaide Marie Fullmer Jensen on Nov. 15, 1911 in Menan, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William James Attridge and also all of her siblings, Lula Hanson, Price Jensen, Gene Jensen, Vera Miskin, Joseph Jensen, Pearl Dunlap and Elmer Jensen. Remaining are her children; Joan (Jack) Johnston, William Farman (Lynn) Attridge, June Marie (John) Hubbard, Robert James (Betty) Attridge and David Charles (Julie) Attridge; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and three great- great-grandchildren.
She has been a loving wife, mother and neighbor to all those who came into her life. All of her children knew they always had her unconditional love. Mom taught us by example, the true pioneer spirit, by how she dealt with challenges head on and did what was right, regardless of the circumstances, starting with raising three tiny children in a tent in the mountains, as her husband worked on dams. She has been a faithful member of the LDS Church and carried out many callings of service all of her life. She will be welcomed home by many who love her and missed by those of us who remain.
Funeral services Mon. 1:00 p.m., March 24, 2003 at the Millcreek 6th Ward, 4600 S. 600 E. Friends may call Sunday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St. and Mon. one hour prior to services at the church. Interment Elysian Burial Gardens.
