Glenn Eugene Fellows was born June 24, 1919, in Geneva, Neb. After graduating from high school and junior college, he traveled to San Francisco and Bremerton, Wash. before being drafted into the U.S. Army Air Force. Before leaving to serve overseas in World War II, he married Matilda "Matty," who preceded him in death after 66 years of marriage. A salesman all of his life, Glenn finished his career at Suburban Door. He and Matilda spent many years in the Milwaukie area before moving to King City five years ago. Glenn leaves behind his son, Glenn "Dick" Fellows; daughter, Diane and her husband, Dick Miller; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, in Young's Funeral Home chapel. Private interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Odyssey Hospice Foundation, 8625 S.W. Cascade Ave., Suite 500, Beaverton, OR 97008.
