Betty Iona 'Mimi' Hooper, 87, Altoona, died Thurs., Jan. 20, 2011 at Altoona Hospital. She was born in Juniata County to George B. & Olive V. (McClure) Kline. She married Thomas Kenneth Hooper on March 12, 1943, in Huntingdon and he died July 19, 2007. Survived by daughter, Carol Knip of Altoona; sons: Kenneth (Carol) and Gary (Holly), all of Altoona; 6 grandchildren; 6 gr. grandchildren; sisters: Grace Stine of Lewistown and Fae Jaymes of Mount Union; and brother, George Kline of Culpepper, VA. Predeceased by sisters: Lettie, Edna, Mary and Beulah, and brothers: John and Harry. Betty previously worked at Altoona Shoe Factory and as a waitress at Dave's Dream. She was a member of Altoona Bible Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, watching game shows and being with her family. Good Funeral Home @ Alto-Reste. Interment, Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
