Loving son, brother, cousin and friend passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at his home after a lengthy illness. Age 11 years.
The son of Kevin and Tracy (Rigda) Duve was born on October 17, 1999 in Saginaw. He attended Birch Run Schools and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Alex enjoyed playing football, baseball, hunting, riding his dirt bike and snowmobile.
Surviving besides his parents are his brother Kevin Duve, Jr., his grandparents Chuck and Sandy Rigda, Virgil and Kay Duve, his aunts and uncles; Cindy Weigold, Kelly (Austin) Smith, Amy (Bret) Dietrich, Jeff Duve, Julie Duve, Brian (Barbara) Duve, Greg (Joyce) Duve, and Kimberly Green, special friends Justin Zeitz and Robert "Bubba" Green and many cousins and friends and his dog, Dewy.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church, 4241 Williamson Rd., Bridgeport. Rev. William W. Hessler will officiate with burial at Birch Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Sunday from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 6:00-8:00p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family through Faith Lutheran Church or with Lisa at PNC Bank in Birch Run.
