Gertrude Kingston Hertens was the wife of Joseph Hertens and the daughter of Lucius H. and Sarah Donahue Kingston. She was only one of two of the children in this family that appears to have survived to adulthood, with the second being Andrew Jackson Kingston (1872-1935). Cause of her death is not given but Mt. Peace Records sent to me have notation "Inquest Pending"? Behind her name on the copy of Kingston internments it says Mrs. VanSant, Pine 7.3x30 and marble sill. Other than these few clues and one photograph of her as a middle aged lady I don't have any other information on her life.
