Born June 26, 1960, in Franklin, he was a son of Walter A. and Rita Weaver Aaron.
He attended St. Patrick School and was a 1980 graduate of Franklin High School.
He had worked in the office of Greenville News in Greenville, S.C., and later as a courier at Furman University.
Steven had a deep knowledge of 1970s music and Pittsburgh sports teams. He also enjoyed building model cars.
He was a member of St. Patrick Church.
Surviving are his mother, Rita Aaron of Franklin; and six sisters, Mary Jane Craig and her husband, John, Candy Miller and her husband, Kris, Connie Cunningham and her husband, Glenn, Betty Lingler and her husband, Ed, all of Franklin, Rita Leopard and her husband, David, of Venice, Fla., and Kathy Lefon and her husband, Bob, of Saxonburg.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and one great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Virginia Marie Aaron.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St.
A vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick Church, with Monsignor John J. Herbein as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
