Adams, David J. 50, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at his home. He was born October 23, 1956 in Hart to Warren and Ruth (Estabrook) Adams. His family moved to Shelby when Dave was one year old. He was a 1974 graduate of Shelby High School. He married Deborah Nielsen Walker on August 25, 1985. He was employed by Farmers Petroleum in Hart for a few years before working for the Village of Shelby Department of Public Works. Dave was very active in the Oceana Cancer Society's Relay for Life. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed nature, gardening, walks and animals. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his daughter, Amanda; his stepson, Matt (Becky) Walker of Muskegon; grandchildren, Carter, Cale, Taylor and Addison Walker; his parents, Warren and Ruth Adams of Shelby; his sister, Kathy Vance of New Era; brothers, Bill (Kathy) Adams of Hart, and Jeff (Amber) Adams of Shelby; his mother-in-law, Myrtle Nielsen of Shelby; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
