RIO - Mrs. Alfred North, 80, died early Sunday (Dec. 3, 1972) in a Portage hospital after an illness. Her husband, Alfred, died in 1966. She was born in Illinois and lived in Rio for 17 years. Surviving are three daughters, five sons, 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. The funeral was held Wednesday in the Union Congregational Church, Rio. Thompson-Kellogg Funeral Home assisted the family.
