Born in Piney twp., Clarion Co. on 5/11/1931. Father-Francis Kriebel, mother-Violet Larimer Kriebel, both preceded her in death. She was formerly married to William "Bill" Mauthe who preceded her in death on March 7, 1998.
She retired from O-I Glass Plant after 37 1/2 years in Claron. She was known as Grandma Mauthe to many and enjoyed eating out with friends and family. Survivors, 1-daughter, Barbara George and her husband James of Strattanville, a grand daughter who she referred to as Margaret "Dumplin" Caro of Strattanville, a great grandson, Travis "Sweetie" Caro of Strattanville, 1-brother, Quay Kriebel and his wife Pat of Butler, a sister in law, Ruby Kriebel of Evans City and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2-brothers, Bill and Carl Kriebel and an infant brother. Visitation will be held on Friday, 2-4, 7-9 from the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory, 330 Wood St., Clarion. Funeral services will be held on Sat. at 11:00 am from the funeral home with Lee Theiss officiating. Interment will be held on the Cedarview Memorial Park.
