BESSIE ATTEBERRY
---Died, at her home southwest of this city, Sunday, Sept. 13, 1891, of that dreaded disease consumption, Miss Bessie Atteberry, daughter of J.B. Atteberry, aged 22 years and 5 months. For months, Miss Bessie had been confined to her room and bed, knowing all this time that the end would soon be at hand- what a dreadful thought. She was well loved by all her young associates. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.E. Edwards (Primitive Baptist) from the Baptist church in this city, Monday afternoon, and the remains were interred in this cemetery.
