Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs Abbie A. Trafton, age 78, who died Sunday night at her home,
7 George Street in Springvale, following a long illness.
Widow of George W. Trafton,
Mrs. Trafton was a member of Ruhamah
Rebekah Lodge, former member of Benapag
Chapter, D.A.R., and a member of the Town Historical Society. She was a native and life-long resident of this town.
She is survived by one son, George Trafton
of Burlington in Vermont; five daughters,
Mrs. Alexander C. Ewen of Franklin in Massassachusetts; Mrs. Harry M. Turner of Springvale; Mrs. John Ransom of Boston in Massachusetts; Mrs. Avis Pillsbury of St. Johnsbury in Vermont; and, Miss Thelma Trafton of Springvale; 12 grand-
children; three great grandchildren and
one brother; Walter Gowen of Sanford.
