James L. Anderson, 77, of Waupun, died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the Christian Home & Rehabilitation Center in Waupun.
James was born Aug. 28, 1932 in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of Clifton and Isabel Drews Anderson.
Following high school, Jim enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served our country for nine years.
On Sept. 1, 1973 he married Ruth Sell Nummerdor in Rogersville, Wis. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun all their married life.
Jim was employed by National Rivet and Manufacturing in Waupun from which he retired in 1997.
Jim was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun and American Legion Post 210.
Jim is survived by his wife, Ruth Anderson of Waupun; a step-son, Lee (Donna) Nummerdor of Waupun; three step-grandchildren, Robert L. (Michelle) Nummerdor, Brent (Leah) Nummerdor and Michele Nummerdor; and 11 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Joan Towne; and a nephew, Steve Towne.
Private graveside services for Jim Anderson will be held at Alto Cemetery in the town of Alto.
