Sadie was a member of the Salvation Army as a young woman and used to march with them in parades playing a tambourine.
She married Isaac Elmer Terry in 1895 and together they had 10 children. Sarah was a devoted pastor's wife and loving mother. She had bright red hair, a feature which none of her children inherited. She did however have some grandchildren who were redheaded.
She died in Haverhill, Mass. at the age of 82.
