WILLIAM HOLMAN BAKER
William Holman Baker, son of William Holman and Margaret Collier Baker was born at Manchester, Ind., March 13th., 1860.
He died at Mooresville, Ind., Nov. 9th., 1927, age 67 years, 7 months and 27 days.
He was married to Flora Perlee, Dec. 26th., 1883 to whom was born two children, one dying in infancy. He spent most of his life as a successful farmer on the farm on which he was born.
He moved to Indianapolis in 1912, living there until Aug. 29th., 1927, moving to Mooresville where his death occurred. He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Geo. T. Jones, a brother, A. E. Baker of Nebraska, a sister, Mrs. Henry Conger of Missouri and three grandchildren, Blanche Eldene, George Jr. and Mary Florine Jones. His remains were taken to Lawrenceburg, Ind, on Friday, Nov. 11th. Funeral was in charge of members of I.O.O.F lodge of which he had been a member of a great many years.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
As we loved him so we miss him,
In our hearts your memory lingers,
Sweet, tender fond and true,
There is not a day, dear father and husband
That we do not think of you.

Billie Baker, a former resident of this place, for many years died at his home near Indianapolis last week and was brought to Greendale Friday for burial.
