Mrs. Norman, daughter of the late George T. and Annie Albea Chafin and the widow of W. Ralph Norman was a life-long resident of Lincoln County, and a member of Lincolnton Baptist Church. She was formerly employed at both McCormick Spinning Mill and Oxford Manufacturing.
She is survived by two sons, Fred E. Norman and wife, Joyce of Dacula and Gerald O. Norman and wife, Lois Ann of Washington, a son-in-law, Thomas Bunch of Lincolnton, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Alice N. Bunch.
Her grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
