Alice E. Adams age 89, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Dec. 23, 1913 in Madison, WI. The daughter of Bert & Emmaline Orvis. Alice was a fun loving caring person, who enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time at Eldercare. She is survived by her "Kitty" Abby, children: Jack (Jeannne) Cooper of Texas, Bob (Rose) Cooper of Albany, WI, Don Adams of LaFarge, WI, Beverly (Jim) Mosel of Madison, WI, Mary Jane (Ron) Melvin of Madison, WI, Cathi (Bob) Fischer of Oregon, WI and Marion Roberts of Nevada, 77 Grandchildren, 114 Great Grandchildren and 13 Great Great Grandchildren. Alice also leaves behind nurmerous sons and daughter in laws. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Curtis "Pep" Adams who died in 1979 and Frederick Cooper, her children Janet Melvin, Jerry Cooper, Margaret Normington, Bobby "Pep" Adams, Betty Hurst, Grover Adams, Dorothy Friede and Waunita Peck, her brothers Charles, Harvey, Clarence, Austin and Albert Orvis, her parents Bert F and Emma F. "Denson" Orvis, her grandparents, Obediah Fields and Alice Matilda "Miles" Denson, Alvah G and Emma L Orvis and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
