Tammy Lyn Matheis was born on July 23, 1963 in Bellflower to Jim and Joyce Lewis. She passed away on Jan. 21, 2011 in Loma Linda. Tammy was raised in Beaumont and graduated from Beaumont High School in 1981. Tammy was married to Robert Matheis on Oct. 17, 1981 in Las Vegas. They were blessed with two sons, Robert and Brian. At work, as in life, Tammy was a real "people person" and had a very successful way of dealing effectively with others. She was employed for four years with Do It Best Hardware in Beaumont.
Tammy is survived by her sons, Robert and Brian; grandson, Brian; husband, Robert; mother, Joyce Lewis; brother, Donald Lewis; sister, Michelle Lofton and extended family, Bruce Bailiff and Lynn Mandour. She was preceded in death by her father, James and brother, Ronald.
Services were to be held at Weaver Mortuary on Jan. 27. Tammy was laid to rest in Mt. View Cemetery. Obit Published in the Record Gazette, Banning, CA, 28 JAN 2011. Cremated remains were buried on her father's grave.
