-- ROCK HILL - Edmond T. Aiton, 69, of 233 Marion St., died Thursday, April 23, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A cryptside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Memorial Park, with the Rev. Richard Hopper officiating.
A native of Enoree and a veteran of the Korean conflict, Mr. Aiton worked as a loom fixer for J.P. Stevens for 40 years.
Surviving are his wife, Eva Aiton; four sons, John Aiton, Edmond T. Aiton and William D. Aiton, all of Rock Hill, and David Lee Aiton of California; two brothers, Oscar Aiton and Rayford Aiton, both of Rock Hill; his sister, Violet Aiton of Rock Hill; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Greene Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
