Angel L. Arroyo, 66, of Bluffton, S.C., and formerly of Vineland, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Hilton Head Hospital in Hilton Head, S.C.
Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Angel worked as an engineer for the Westin Resort in Hilton Head, S.C., for 21 years, and was a maintenance manager at Walnut Manor Apartments in Vineland for 16 years. Angel enjoyed working with wood, loved working on cars and playing the accordion.
Survived by his wife of 33 years, Juanita (Figueroa) Arroyo of South Carolina; four children, Jesus and Daniel Castro, Sonia Nwizu and Angel Arroyo, all of South Carolina; brother, Rafael Arroyo of Puerto Rico; two nephews, Tony and Pablo Masonet, both of Vineland; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 1019 E. Landis Ave., Vineland.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Vineland.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
