Harold Archer, 49, of Litchfield, died Thursday at Medina Community Hospital after an illness of several months.
He was born in Cambridge, Ohio, and had lived in the Litchfield area for 28 years.
He was self-employed in the Harold Archer and Sons Trucking Company.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; sons, David A., of Litchfield; Laurence, of Spencer; Daniel, of Wellington; a daughter, Kristine Archer, at home; sever grandchildren; his mother, Elizabeth Archer, of Grafton; sisters, Viola Matulionis, of Brunswick, and Martha Adams, of St. Louis, Mo., and brothers Gerald of Naples, Fla., and Kenneth, of Grafton.
Friends may call today 2-4 and 7-9 at the Waite and Son Memorial Home, Litchfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Norman Beetler, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, Wellington, officiating.
Burial will be in Litchfield Cemetery.
