He was of the Church of God faith. Darrell loved gospel music and his dogs.
Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Loraine Green Johnson, and brother, Freddie Johnson.
Survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Denny and Pearl Johnson of Lenoir City, Eddie and Nancy Johnson of Sweetwater; sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Mike Viars of Lenoir City; special friend, Amanda Heimerling of Sweetwater; nieces and nephews, Trevor Hart, Kayleigh Hart, Jessica Harden, Tyler Hart, Becky Stiles, Freddie and Randall Johnson and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Hawkins Chapel, 102 B Street, Lenoir City. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hawkins Chapel with Rev. Bobby Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery.
