Dad was a loving son, brother, husband and father to two daughters, Deborah Sharlene and Donna Karlene (Cooper). He used his life for the glory of our Lord, God. He testified through song and gave the shirt off his back to anyone who said they needed it. I always told him that he had a "Big Heart and a Little Head", but he never veered from the path that his Father, (Daniel Cummings Hughes: buried at Coldwater Baptist Cemetery)a Preacher taught him. He suffered from terminal Prostate Cancer for 23 years before getting dementia and finally ending the race to be with his maker. Dad requested that his ashes be placed at his Father's old homestead 1 mile down and across the road from Ebenezer Cemetery and a small amount of his ashed to be sprinkled at his parents, Daniel and Mima Pearl's grave site in Coldwater. He had nothing, but died a rich man. I miss you Daddy!
