Muriel Abbott, 81, of Jones, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, September 12, 1993. She was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma January 18, 1912. Mrs. Abbott was a homemaker in Jones, where she lived since 1972. The was also a member of the Jones Assembly of God since 1972.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tilden S. Abbott in 1981. There were married in Boynton, Oklahoma on August 26, 1938.

She is survived by her son, Robert Abbott of Jones; five daughters, Elnora Zachary of Euless, Texas; Mary Winscott of Tacoma, Washington; Kathleen Nelson of Montgomery, Alabama; Joaneta Randell of Edmond and Evelyn Anderson of Bristow, Oklahoma; a brother, Howard Ryals of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; a sister, Betty Linton of Muskogee, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.

Services 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Assembly of God with interment in the Luther Cemetery. Family requests memorials be made to the Jones Assembly of God. Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond, Oklahoma.
