"Mrs. Katherine J. Wikoff, aged 94, of Richfield Springs, died Monday in Herkimer Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. She was born November 17, 1865, in Naples, the daughter of Thoams and Anna (Wheat) Jennings. She attended school there and at Buffalo State Normal School. She was married to Charles M. Wikoff on June 1, 1906, in Naples with the Rev. William Caldwell performing the ceremony. Mrs. Wikoff was once principal of Oyster Bay, L. I. School, and taught the Richfield Springs training class for prospective teachers for several years. The couple always lived in Richfield Springs. Mr. Wikoff, a local dairy farmer and Board of Education member, died June 19, 1953. Mrs. Wikoff was a member of the First Methodist Church of Richfield Springs. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Louis R. Bruce, Jr. of Richfield Springs; three grandchildren, and a great-grandson ... Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery."
