GAFFNEY - Mrs. Edith Broome Campbell, 77, of 103 Filbert St, died Sunday, July 10, 1994 at her home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at East Gaffney Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Garden. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Campbell was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late William Broome and Kate Bridges Broome. She was a retired textile worker and a charter member of East Gaffney Baptist Church where she organized the senior citizens group, taught Sunday School and was a member of the WMU.
Surviving are three daughters Ruthie Lee, Edna C. Howard and Kate Spencer, all of Gaffney; two sons, Clarence Campbell of Gaffney and Paul Campbell of Rock Hill; one brother, J.D. Broome of Hickory, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Shuford Hatcher Funeral Home, 211 E. Frederick St., Gaffney, and at other times at the home
