St. John's Episcopal Church was crowded yesterday afternoon for the funeral of J. AUGUSTINE MASON, prominent lawyer.
Members of the Washington County Bar, of which Mr. Mason was a member for many years attended in a body, and a number of lawyers and friends from various sections of the state were present to pay a final tribute.
The simple and beautiful services of the Episcopal Church were conducted. Interment offerings were beautiful and numerous.
