Mae L (LaForest) Hickey, 81, of Auburn, a retired city of Worcester employee, died January 8th in Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, John, of Auburn; her son, John, of Worcester; and her daughter, Norma, of Auburn.
Her older son, Charles F Robinson of Worcester, three brothers Francis LaForest, Raymond LaForest and Frederick LaForest, all of Worcester, and a sister, Loretta Jones of Connecticut, predeceased her. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Joseph O and Mary (Doyle) LaForest. Mrs. Hickey was educated in Worcester Schools. She later worked for twenty years as a Nursing Assistant at the Belmont Home, retiring in 1986.
She attended Saint Joseph's Church in Auburn.
