Mrs. Brella Fann Cannady, 98 of 265 Microwave Tower Road, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Honeycutt and Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Cannady was born on December 12, 1912 in Sampson County to the late Lonnie and Lena Honeycutt Fann. She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Sanford Cannady; one son, Billy Gray Cannady; and her granddaughter, Deborah Jean Autry Harris. She was a retired Seamstress.
She is survived by: her daughter, Thelma Cannady Autry and husband Bobby of the home; two grandchildren, Darlene Autry Lapham and husband Dan of Richmond, VA, and Bobby Gene Autry, Jr. and wife Rose of Clinton; eight great grandchildren, Amy Ezzell Whitetree of Richmond, VA, Christy Ezzell Gaddis of Fayetteville, April Ezzell Hales of Hope Mills, Jason Harris of Colorado Springs, CO, Bryan Strickland of Salemburg, Josh Smith of Salemburg, Amanda Harris of Stafford, VA, and Joe Smith of Clinton; and eight great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
