Roxie Belle Bartley, 68, a resident of Waterford three years, died in a hospital here yesterday following a short illness.
She was born in Henderson County, Texas, and had lived in California 12 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was the wife of Bennie H. Bartley, Waterford; mother of Marvin Lee Bartley and Lucille Poindexter, Lubbock, Texas, Joe S. Bartley, Hickman, and Newman W. Bartley, Walters, Okla; sister of Laura Boling, Lubbock; Lou Kilpatrick and Ida Mae McCoy, Fort Worth, Texas; Dora Permenter, Phoenix, Ariz., and Chester Miller, Helena, Mont.; a grandmother of seven, and great grandmother of four.
Services will be held at 2 PM tomorrow at the Salas Brothers-Moore Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
