CONRAD BURKHARDT, 80, native of Germany and retired boilermaker for K. & I. Terminal Railroad, died at 5:10 a.m. Thursday at his home, 912 Logan. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Burkhardt; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Wahl and Mrs. Josephine Krauss; a son, Chris Burkharft; three sisters, Mrs. Matilda Wies, Pittsburgh, Mrs. Katherine Schneider and Mrs. Anna Bahr; two brothers, Fred Burkhardt, Milton, Ky., and Charles Burkhardt, Madison, Ind., and twelve grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.

Celebrate Golden Anniversary

A reception marking their golden wedding anniversay will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Burkhardt, at their home, 912 Logan. They were married at Madison, Ind., June 18, 1887.
Mr. Burkhard is 73. Mrs. Burkhardt is 70. They have three children, Chris Burkhardt, Mrs. A. J. Wahl and Mrs. A. G. Krauss. They also have twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
