Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at the Erickson and Brown Chapel for Willie Mae Hornsby, who died Friday in a local hospital at age of 72.
Mrs. Hornsby was born May 9, 1902 in Euchee, Tennessee and had resided in Taft for the past 40 years, during which time she was a well-known restaurant cook for many years. She had lived in California for 53 years.
She is survived by her husband Claude Hornsby, son, daughters, four grandchildren, and brother.
The reverend of the First Assembly of God will officiate at the services, and burial will follow in the West Side District Cemetery.
