John W. Satterfield, 74, died at his home, 1201 Luick Ave., Thursday afternoon. Mr. Satterfield was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. He had been employed at Warner Gear prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Warner Gear Sympathy Club.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Agnes) Marshall, Big Long Lake; two sons, Paul and William, both of Muncie; a sister, Mrs. Nettie Williamson, Dayton; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Gail Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. tonight and prior to services Saturday at the mortuary.
