Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hardy W. Gwinnett and Mrs. J.C. Nelms of Norfolk.
He was a native of Knotts Island and had been a resident of Norfolk for 35 years. Until his retirement in 1954 he was in the employ of the city of Norfolk at Elmwood Cemetery for 30 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomom-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Knotts Island Cemetery
